The Ledermax Application Sponge is used to apply the Conditiner #2.0 to the leather. You'll notice it's much softer than the cleaner Sponge.
How to clean and protect with the Ledermax system
- Dampen the Yellow Cleaning Sponge
- Apply the cleaner to the Applicator, not the leather
- Scrub in circular and back and forth motions
- Wipe clean with a 100% cotton cloth or a soft microfiber.
- Apply the Conditioner #2.0 to the white Applicator Sponge
- Apply gently in circular motions
- Level the conditioner, then using the dry side of the Applicator, dab the surface to leave a clean satin finish.
Additional tips
- Clean the Yellow Sponge with water in between sections.
- Let the conditioner #2.0 dry on the leather; never wipe it off.
- Multiple rounds of conditioning might be required for older dryer leather.
If you follow this process, the leather ends up clean, smooth, and protected without looking greasy. This is the system I trust.
